Production Foreman

About the role

The Production Foreman will lead the day‑to‑day operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance, minimal downtime, and adherence to quality, safety and environmental standards. Reporting to plant management, the role combines hands‑on equipment oversight with team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee set‑up, calibration and operation of production machinery to meet output targets.
• Supervise troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and system issues and coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Monitor production processes, adjust parameters to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead, train and coach a team of operators, delegating tasks fairly and maintaining morale.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies.
• Prepare periodic reports on production performance, deviations and corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process and business‑process improvements, including automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 6–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead a team, provide coaching and manage workload distribution.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to escalate complex issues.
