Project Manager – Civil

About the role

The client is looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for interpreting contracts, BOQs, specifications and drawings, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, budget, schedule and resources.
• Monitor progress, manage variations and extensions of time, and keep the baseline schedule up‑to‑date with the Planning Engineer.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams, handling all project correspondence.
• Oversee MEP coordination, ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and authority approvals.
• Track project costs, financial performance and implement cost‑saving strategies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks and safety audits.
• Manage submittals, approvals, material requests for long‑lead items and maintain comprehensive site records.
• Lead the snagging process, final handover and obtain the Work Completion Certificate.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of local experience managing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, BOQs, specifications and construction drawings.
• Proven ability to control budgets, schedules and handle variations/EOTs.
• Experience coordinating MEP works and liaising with consultants and authorities.
• Demonstrated skill in quality, safety and site documentation management.
