Project Manager (Fire Protection Systems)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of industrial fire protection projects across the construction sector. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement and client stakeholders to ensure safety, compliance and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for fire protection systems, from planning through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules (MS Project, Primavera) and budgets aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement and site installation, and manage risks, issues and change requests.
• Maintain communication with clients, provide progress reports, and ensure all permits, certifications and documentation are obtained.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to control quality, delivery schedules and overall project performance.

Required profile

• Engineering or project management degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection) preferred.
• Proven experience delivering fire protection or similar engineering projects in construction or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection, suppression, alarm and emergency shutdown systems in high‑hazard environments.
• Ability to read technical documents such as P&IDs and equipment layouts.
• Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) desirable.
