Public Health Communications Specialist – Remote Part‑Time

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI laboratory to train its newest language model on professional public‑health documentation. The role is fully remote, flexible, and focused on creating, reviewing, and refining AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for health communication workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and edit outbreak and risk‑communication messaging, plain‑language health guidance, media statements, and talking points.
• Develop campaign materials, stakeholder briefing documents, and surveillance‑reporting decks.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, clarity, and public‑health relevance.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to improve model performance on health‑sector tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in public‑health communications, health journalism, or a public‑agency communications role.
• Direct ownership of risk‑communication or health‑guidance content for public or clinical audiences.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills.

What we offer

• Compensation of $90 per hour.
