Quality Specialist

About the role

Amazon Now (AE) is building a new grocery business and needs a Quality Specialist to ensure the highest standards for meat, seafood, produce and other perishable items. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain and exceed Amazon’s quality bar on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review the quality of inbound meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, eggs and other perishables at Amazon stores, hubs and vendor sites.
• Reject damaged or defective items and record rejections by item, vendor and quantity.
• Audit quality during picking and packing performed by LPC associates.
• Monitor packaging standards during the packing process.
• Perform daily bin audits and share reports with stakeholders.
• Train store and hub associates on quality SOPs and packaging requirements.

Required profile

• Eye for detail and operational excellence.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in fresh produce or perishable categories.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
