Registered Midwife – Full-Time in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team at NMC Healthcare in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized maternity care, supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, labor, and post‑natal periods.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and post‑natal care in accordance with NMC clinical standards.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on birth options, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Registered Midwife qualification recognized by the UAE Ministry of Health or equivalent.
• Current NMC registration or eligibility to register.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or maternity setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard midwifery procedures (normal delivery, assisted delivery, emergency obstetric care).
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems used in UAE hospitals.
