Senior HR Business Partner – Corporate Services

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted HR leader and advisor to the Executive Management team across Group Finance, Legal, Audit, Procurement and Communications within Corporate Services. The role ensures that human capital management aligns with Al‑Futtaim’s mission, vision and values while driving talent acquisition, engagement, development and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and drive the people strategy, lead organisation design, operating model and effectiveness initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, restructuring and optimisation of productivity, capability and people cost using analytics.
• Own the talent agenda, lead talent reviews and succession planning for critical roles.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, anticipate people risks and influence business decisions.
• Provide senior counsel on complex employee relations, culture, engagement and organisational risk.
• Develop sustainable Emiratisation and national talent strategies embedded in workforce planning.
• Oversee HR governance, reward and people costs, ensuring commercial soundness and policy alignment.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management; MBA or CIPD preferred.
• 12+ years of HR Generalist experience with strong expertise in Employee and Industrial Relations.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner and leading HR teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Change Management expertise, especially in organisational and performance/compensation management.
• Strong capability in Recruitment & Selection processes and Employee Relations.
• High‑level business strategy, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach individuals and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
