Senior Legal Counsel – Global Corporate Finance

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel for Global Corporate Finance (GCF) will support the Head of Legal in managing legal risk across all FAB geographies. The role requires independent judgment while collaborating closely with business units to ensure compliance with FAB Group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice aligned with FAB’s strategic objectives and ensure compliance with international and domestic regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and standardised legal agreements to protect FAB’s interests.
• Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence for new products and services across multiple jurisdictions.
• Monitor legislative changes, inform senior stakeholders, and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Share knowledge with the legal team and deliver training sessions as directed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in corporate finance and banking law.
• Ability to work autonomously and escalate complex matters to the Head of Legal.
• Strong understanding of international and UAE legal frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
