About the role
EGA is seeking an exceptional Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal, Ethics and Business Integrity function, providing dedicated legal support to Marketing & Sales and Supply Chain businesses. The role will advise on the full spectrum of EGA’s commercial operations, including aluminium sales, commodity trading and procurement of raw materials.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as aluminium sales contracts, offtake agreements, commodity purchase contracts and tolling arrangements.
- Provide legal support to international sales offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Mexico and the USA, and to overseas production assets in Germany, Italy and the United States.
- Manage post‑contractual support, training, and periodic compliance reviews throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks, and assist in dispute management, litigation or arbitration as needed.
- Oversee external counsel engagements, budget management and implementation of legal technology solutions.
