Senior M365 Engineer

About the role

Scoutr AI is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of its Microsoft 365 environment for thousands of users in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep technical expertise with the ability to guide security and compliance initiatives across the tenant.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Exchange Online, including hybrid configurations, mail flow, connectors, and tenant‑to‑tenant migrations.
• Configure and maintain email security protocols such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Defender for Office 365 and anti‑phishing policies.
• Manage Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive governance, policies, and lifecycle settings.
• Design and enforce Microsoft 365 security baselines, Conditional Access, MFA, and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview.
• Automate routine administration and reporting with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, and oversee licensing, service health and vendor support.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure, with at least 5 years administering Microsoft 365 at enterprise scale (1,000+ users).
• Proven track record leading complex Exchange migrations and troubleshooting email delivery issues.
• Strong background in security policy design, Conditional Access, and compliance tooling.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Hands‑on project leadership and change‑management experience.
