Senior Manager – AI & Product Delivery (15‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead AI governance, assurance and product delivery for a leading HR solutions provider in Dubai. The role oversees the full lifecycle of AI models, ensuring they are secure, compliant and aligned with business objectives throughout a 15‑month fixed‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the enterprise AI Assurance Framework.
• Review and approve AI solutions for production, ensuring compliance with governance, security, scalability and performance standards.
• Establish standards for model development, validation, testing, monitoring, explainability and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Cybersecurity teams to embed Responsible AI practices.
• Conduct AI risk assessments and present assurance outcomes to senior leadership and governance boards.
• Monitor AI systems for bias, model drift, performance issues and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain AI governance policies, frameworks, best practices and assurance guidelines.
• Drive AI awareness and capability building through coaching, mentorship and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AI and data‑driven products from business case to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Act as primary contact for AI assurance matters with vendors, auditors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in AI governance, assurance or product delivery.
• Proven senior‑level leadership in managing cross‑functional AI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of AI risk, compliance, security and lifecycle management.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present recommendations to governance boards.
