Senior Manager, Social Media

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a visionary Senior Manager, Social Media to shape and execute its global social media strategy. Reporting to the Director of Brand, Creative & Social, you will drive brand affinity, support commercial objectives and lead a high‑performing team of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with Etihad’s brand and business goals.
• Create a social media playbook that drives engagement, reach and conversion across all platforms.
• Translate brand strategy into distinctive, premium social content and campaigns.
• Oversee content calendar planning, production and optimisation for each platform.
• Set, monitor and report on key social media KPIs, turning data into actionable business insights.
• Lead real‑time coverage of major events, partnerships and influencer collaborations.
• Coach and develop a team of social media professionals, fostering creativity and collaboration.

Required profile

• UAE national with proven senior‑level experience in social media strategy and execution.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to translate metrics into business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders, agencies and creators.
