Senior Officer – Procurement & Contracts

About the role

The Senior Officer – Procurement & Contracts will lead the coordination and administration of tendering processes and contract management in line with company standards. This role supports business objectives by ensuring timely and compliant procurement activities, especially for long‑term purchase agreements and long‑lead items.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full tendering cycle from expression of interest to agreement distribution, following company contract guidelines.
• Schedule tender activities, liaise with end‑users, and resolve queries to keep contracts on track.
• Maintain and update standard communication forms, tender documents, and board submissions.
• Compile, prepare, and arrange tender documentation according to invitation procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in contract coordination, bid preparation, and tender management within a large industrial (preferably oil & gas) environment.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, standard oil & gas contracting forms, and their operational impact.
• Familiarity with technical and commercial bid evaluation, QHSE systems, and UAE laws and regulations.
• Proven planning, organizing, scheduling, and record‑keeping abilities.
