Senior QA/QC Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is expanding its Project Management Consultancy team for a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi. The Senior QA/QC Engineer will lead the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System, ensuring all engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities meet ADNOC Offshore requirements, project specifications, international standards and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, ADNOC Offshore specifications and project requirements.
• Review and ensure conformity of Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements and Quality Procedures.
• Monitor daily project activities to verify adherence to approved quality requirements and industry standards.
• Support the Project Quality Manager in achieving quality KPIs and objectives.
• Conduct quality surveillance of fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning, coordinating with ADNOC Offshore representatives, third‑party inspectors and subcontractors.
• Witness and document testing and inspection activities such as hydro‑testing, pressure testing, NDT, welding and coating inspections.
• Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications, Procedure Qualification Records and Welder Qualification Records, ensuring compliance with ASME, AWS and project specifications.
• Verify NDT activities including Radiographic, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Testing.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive QA/QC experience on offshore projects.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge.
• Familiarity with ADNOC Offshore specifications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements and Quality Procedures.
• Proficiency in welding quality control, including WPS, PQR and welder qualification.
• Strong background in NDT techniques: RT, UT, MT and PT.
• Understanding of ASME and AWS standards for welding and fabrication.
