Site Manager – Data Center

About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the daily operations of large data centre sites across the EMEA region. The role involves overseeing site preparation, construction, testing and commissioning while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental processes on‑site, including toolbox talks, daily risk assessments and safety briefings.
• Represent the Project Manager in local coordination meetings and act as the primary point of contact for Eaton and third‑party suppliers.
• Coordinate and direct daily site works, monitor resource gaps and support planning to keep projects on schedule.
• Provide daily written updates to the Project Manager covering work performed, issues and upcoming plans.
• Identify and document extra‑work requests and raise unforeseen constraints for cost recapture.
• Serve as testing auditor for on‑site testing, certification and commissioning activities.
• Lead the Eaton on‑site service team and vendor workers to achieve quality, cost, delivery and safety goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large industrial or data centre sites, preferably in an EMEA context.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and ability to enforce safety standards.
• Willingness to work on a rotation schedule (6 weeks on‑site, 1 week home).
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

• Testing audit procedures for data centre commissioning.
• Construction and site management best practices.
