Specialist Consultant Family Medicine (UK CCT) – Relocate to UAE

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist/Consultant in Family Medicine who holds a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). The physician will deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based primary care to patients of all ages in Sharjah, UAE, with a strong emphasis on preventive health and chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare services, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive health services, health screenings, and lifestyle counselling.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD and cardiovascular risk factors.
• Order, perform and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Carry out outpatient procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Identify urgent or emergency conditions and initiate appropriate management.
• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when indicated.
• Maintain accurate medical records and promote patient education.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• UK CCT in General Practice/Family Medicine.
• Eligibility for a valid UAE Specialist/Consultant Family Medicine licence.
• Relevant post‑CCT clinical experience in Family Medicine.
• Current professional registration and Good Standing Certificate.
• Current BLS certification.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
