Specialist Consultant – Pain Medicine (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Consultant in Pain Medicine to join leading hospitals and healthcare facilities across the UAE. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based assessment and management for patients with acute and chronic pain, aiming to improve their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients experiencing acute, chronic, musculoskeletal, neuropathic, cancer‑related, and post‑operative pain.
• Develop and implement individualized pain‑management plans using pharmacological and non‑pharmacological approaches.
• Perform interventional pain procedures, including nerve blocks, regional anesthesia, and image‑guided injections.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, adjust plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, oncologists, and physiotherapists.
• Educate patients on pain‑management options and long‑term care strategies.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB/FCPS/FRCA) in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, or a related specialty.
• UK CCT in Pain Medicine or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialization experience in pain medicine.
• Strong clinical expertise in acute and chronic pain management.
