About the role

The Specialist Physiotherapist – Pelvic Health Specialist provides advanced physiotherapy services for patients with pelvic health conditions, both male and female, within Mediclinic Parkview Hospital. The role requires autonomous clinical practice, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a focus on service development, education, and research.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality pelvic health physiotherapy care to diverse patient populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Lead service development initiatives and promote best practice standards.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, regulatory requirements, and professional guidelines.
• Support education and training programmes for staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapy staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Physiotherapy or equivalent (essential).
• Post‑graduate qualification such as M.Sc. in Physiotherapy (desired).
• Minimum 4 years specialist experience in pelvic health physiotherapy.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., POGP, ICS) and DHA accreditation or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification and mandatory training in moving and handling.
