Student Supervisor – School Discipline Coordinator

About the role

The International School of Choueifat – DIP is seeking a dedicated Student Supervisor to uphold a safe and orderly learning environment. You will work closely with teachers, prefects and parents to manage student behavior and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct corridor, bathroom and classroom checks before the school day starts to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Coordinate student line‑ups before, during and after recess with SLO® prefects.
• Manage transition times between classes to minimise downtime.
• Mentor students on the importance of discipline for a safe learning atmosphere.
• Maintain quiet entry into classrooms after breaks and ensure timely class attendance.
• Enter attendance, infractions and other data into the SABIS® School Management System.
• Contact and follow up with parents regarding student absences or behavioural issues.
• Observe classes to guarantee a calm learning environment and intervene in bullying or fighting.
• Inform students of disciplinary actions such as detention.
• Accompany students to the bus area after school and verify correct bus allocation.
• Prepare daily reports on teacher observations, student infractions and complaints.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss behaviour concerns.
• Perform additional tasks delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Proficient or native English speaker.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to meet all employment requirements, including background and reference checks.
