Team Leader – Project HSE

About the role

Lead and manage all project‑related Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities across the full project lifecycle, from assessment and design through construction and commissioning. Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, regulatory requirements and international best practices while supporting informed decision‑making and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor project‑specific HSE plans aligned with scope, risk profile and execution strategy.
• Track and report HSE performance through structured reporting, audits and reviews.
• Lead HSE audits, ensure timely closure of findings and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct HSE incident investigations, identify root causes and drive remedial measures.
• Apply ADNOC HSE specifications, Codes of Practice and project‑specific requirements throughout all phases.
• Support leadership site visits and ensure alignment with project HSE objectives.
• Drive HSE awareness and communication within project teams.
• Lead and participate in HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessments, impact assessments and root‑cause analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in HSE project management or related roles.
• Proven ability to lead HSE activities across all project lifecycle phases.
• Experience in managing contractor HSE performance and conducting HSE audits.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards, regulatory requirements and international best practices.
