Technical Sales Specialist – Gulf Region

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to support the growth of its Infrastructure Solutions business across the Gulf region. The role combines deep technical expertise with customer‑facing consulting and pre‑sales responsibilities, partnering with CTOs, IT decision‑makers, partners and internal sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners and Lenovo sales teams across the Gulf.
• Identify, develop and qualify infrastructure opportunities related to servers, software‑defined infrastructure and storage solutions.
• Design and configure end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Support account teams with technical presentations, solution proposals, product positioning and competitive differentiation.
• Prepare RFI/RFP responses, deliver demos, proofs of concept and technical enablement sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technical pre‑sales, solution architecture or technical sales within the IT industry.
• Proven experience with enterprise IT vendors, distributors, systems integrators or technology partners.
• Professional proficiency in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of data‑center architecture, servers, storage, cloud infrastructure, converged and hyper‑converged solutions.
• Knowledge of AI ecosystems and platforms such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and cloud‑based AI technologies.
• Experience designing and delivering infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
