Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a lean, high‑impact team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports asset management activities in a cross‑functional environment, contributing to performance monitoring, reporting and business analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly production reports and presentations for asset management.
• Assist in monthly OPCO cash‑call billing and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) control documentation.
• Analyze OPCO reports and consolidate monthly KPIs (production, CAPEX, OPEX, GHG emissions) for EXCOM reporting.
• Support preparation of closure forecasts and coordinate weekly Tender Board reviews.
• Review and summarize OPCO long‑term business plans and variances.
• Consolidate technical inputs for TotalEnergies long‑term plan and budget exercises.
• Maintain databases of cost cards, asset‑lead initiatives and project performance metrics.
• Manage digital initiatives, act as focal point for Citrix, eBoard and TBMS systems.
• Oversee automated processing of production data and create KPI dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Assist in preparing slides for asset‑lead presentations and sub‑committee meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in oil & gas, preferably in process or production environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and effective verbal and written communication.
• Technical engineering background with ability to work cross‑functionally.
