Technician Trainee (UAE National)

About the role

The Technician Trainee position offers UAE nationals a hands‑on introduction to aircraft maintenance within Air Arabia’s line and base maintenance environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers on Avionics, Airframe and Engine tasks, gaining practical exposure to inspections, repairs and component replacements on commercial aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers in performing routine and non‑routine maintenance on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft.
• Carry out inspections, repairs and component replacements following manufacturer manuals and regulatory standards.
• Document all work accurately and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Support the preparation and replacement of parts, including physical checks and proper labeling.
• Maintain a tidy workstation and adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in a structured training programme coordinated by the Training Department and Maintenance Managers.

Required profile

• UAE national, aged 23‑30 years.
• Diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent (preferred).
• Good command of English for technical communication.
• Physically fit and able to travel on short notice.
• Valid driver’s licence for the UAE.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
