Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads the maintenance, tooling, production, quality and engineering functions to ensure efficient manufacturing operations for HVAC products. This senior position is responsible for delivering cost‑efficient product units while supporting plant expansions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assign jobs, set priorities and oversee daily workflow of the department.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff; conduct performance evaluations and handle discipline or termination.
• Analyze current manufacturing operations to locate inefficiencies and recommend cost‑effective improvements.
• Collaborate with other department managers to set and assess cross‑team priorities.
• Supervise tooling operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Guide plant renovations and expansions, coordinating contractors and vendors.
• Lead implementation of Lean practices such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban and Value‑Stream Mapping.
• Improve routing time for various HVAC product models.
• Approve purchase, installation and commissioning of new equipment and machine‑tool designs.
• Provide technical support for plant operations and prepare the departmental budget.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years experience in HVAC manufacturing or a related industry.
• Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering and tooling.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for budgeting and record‑keeping.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for design and tooling documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English (Arabic an advantage).
