AC & Refrigeration Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AC & Refrigeration Technician to join our hotel engineering team in Dubai. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and residential areas of the property, ensuring safety, efficiency and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair AC and refrigeration systems in line with manufacturer specifications and UAE regulations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and conduct pressure testing, leak detection and refrigerant recovery.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, providing timely solutions to minimise downtime.
• Monitor HVAC and refrigeration equipment during shifts, report abnormalities and carry out daily engineering inspections.
• Document all service work, repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment, follow hotel safety procedures and permit‑to‑work requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments on complex installations and repairs.

Required profile

• 2‑year ITI or 3‑year diploma in HVAC & Refrigeration (required).
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to multiple job sites.
• Knowledge of UAE HVAC and refrigeration regulations (preferred).
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems (preferred).
• Additional trade certifications in HVAC or refrigeration (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as manifold gauges, multimeters and refrigerant recovery equipment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and system documentation.
