Account Director Partnerships

About the role

160over90, a global marketing agency within Publicis Groupe, is hiring an Account Director Partnerships in Dubai. The role leads the day-to-day client relationship and partnership activation programming for a client's sponsorship portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day client relationship and partnership activation programming for the client's sponsorship portfolio
• Develop and implement partnership strategy and activation, evaluate additional sponsorship opportunities and support contract negotiations as appropriate
• Provide strategic thinking and recommendations for the client and the agency
• Liaise with the wider account team and provide connectivity across all workstreams
• Lead and mentor direct reports
• Work with cross-functional teams and relevant agency partners

Required profile

• Minimum of 8+ years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience in the sports and entertainment industries (e.g., sponsorship marketing or event marketing)
• Prior experience developing and implementing a client sponsorship portfolio and activations
• Oversight of key client budgets
• Experience managing a team and managing day-to-day relationships with clients, agencies and vendors
• Experience with sponsorship contract negotiations
• Practical experience with event marketing operations and logistics
• Proven ability to prioritise workflow, manage multiple projects and deliver pre-defined goals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client/account management experience
