Account Manager – Telco (Hybrid, Dubai)

About the role

HPE is seeking a Telco‑focused Account Manager to lead and grow strategic accounts in the UAE. This hybrid position requires you to work on‑site at the Dubai office two days a week while managing a portfolio of large‑scale customers across the telecom sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans that align HPE’s portfolio with customer KPIs, business priorities and digital transformation goals.
• Drive pipeline creation, lead multi‑disciplinary deal teams, and own the end‑to‑end sales cycle to close high‑value contracts.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior IT and business decision‑makers, as well as with the extended partner ecosystem.
• Position HPE’s strategic solutions, leveraging programs such as Executive Sponsors and supply‑chain initiatives to increase profitability.
• Provide feedback to internal HPE teams, act as the customer’s advocate, and ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (engineering, technology or related) preferred; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
• 6‑10+ years of account management experience, preferably in the IT or telecom industry.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and delivering revenue growth.
• Experience working with partners and navigating multi‑vendor environments.
