Account Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Specialist monitors project financial performance, providing insights on revenue, costs, margins, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial risk analysis. The role ensures accurate project accounting, IFRS 15 revenue recognition, and supports financial closing and audits.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project financial performance and conduct margin reviews, cost‑to‑complete assessments and forecasting.
• Analyze budget and forecast variances, identify financial exposures and improvement opportunities.
• Apply IFRS 15 to project contracts and coordinate financial closing activities.
• Review accounting records, reconcile SAP data with project P&L and support internal and external audits.
• Support SAP Project Systems governance and drive process improvements in project accounting.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project finance, accounting or controllership.
• Experience in project‑based environments with complex contracts and multi‑entity operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
