Accountant – 2-3 years UAE agency experience

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant with 2–3 years of UAE experience, preferably from an advertising, marketing, media, or creative agency. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month‑end closing and VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare invoices and follow up on collections
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end closing and financial reporting
• Prepare and file VAT returns
• Monitor project/client‑wise costing and profitability
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of UAE accounting experience
• Agency experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
