Accountant – Arabic Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant who is fluent in Arabic to join our Finance & Accounting team remotely. The role involves managing daily accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE and KSA tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including bank accounts, cash, payment cards, and electronic payment gateways.
• Process supplier payments, financial transfers, and other obligations within established deadlines.
• Monitor daily cash flow and perform regular reconciliations of bank, customer, supplier, and payment gateway accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate records and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile revenue against sales records, invoices, and received payments.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities and coordinate year‑end financial statements with external auditors.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and expense monitoring against approved budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in e‑commerce or retail.
• Good understanding of UAE and KSA VAT and related tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, calculations, financial reporting).
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
