Accountant – Finance & Operations (Dubai)

About the role

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a hands‑on Accountant to support the full financial cycle for its Middle East offices. Based in Dubai, you will ensure accurate bookkeeping, compliance with internal policies, and act as a bridge between finance and the broader business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes, from transaction processing to period‑end close.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for Dubai and Riyadh offices.
• Support high‑volume transactional processing, including accounts payable, when time‑critical.
• Serve as the systems champion, resolving system‑related challenges and liaising with local finance, fee earners, and business support teams.
• Coordinate transactional accounting matters with counterparts across the EMEAPAC network and globally.

Required profile

• Strong independence and accountability in a multi‑tasking environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact confidently at all organisational levels.
• Commercial awareness and solid organisational discipline.
• Understanding of local operational requirements for the Middle East region.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in handling end‑to‑end accounting cycles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve finance‑system issues.
