Accountant – Floral & E‑Commerce (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the full financial cycle of a fast‑growing floral and e‑commerce business in Dubai. The role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping, requiring strong analytical skills to optimise cash flow and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements including P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports.
• Handle VAT and corporate tax filing and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile e‑commerce payouts, POS systems, bank statements and inventory costing.
• Monitor cash flow, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate vendor payments, negotiate terms and maintain supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in e‑commerce, retail or floral/FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho Books accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, Talabat, Deliveroo, Instashop, Amazon and WooCommerce.
