About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant specialized in freight forwarding to manage petty cash, bank reconciliation and inter‑company accounting activities in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely posting of journal entries
- Perform daily accounting activities
- Process petty cash payments
- Assist in preparing periodic reports
- Support external and internal audits
- Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Arrange staff petty cash expenses
- Maintain proper filing of all records
Required profile
- 3‑4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably as an accounts assistant handling bank reconciliation and petty cash
- B.Com or equivalent accounting qualification with relevant industry knowledge
- Demonstrated teamwork, confidentiality and a commitment to continuous learning
