Accountant – Full-time in Abu Dhabi

About the role

PAL Group is hiring a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting and audits, perform reconciliations, and help ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, inter‑company, and other account reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Tax, and other departments to support smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of UAE accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, AP/AR management, account reconciliation, UAE accounting standards, and tax compliance.
