Accountant – In‑house bookkeeping role in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for our first in‑house accountant to join Metrion Trading FZCO in Dubai Airport Freezone. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping and data entry, ensuring all supplier and customer documents are captured accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and archive invoices, delivery notes, contracts and customs documents from suppliers and customers.
• Enter supplier invoices, sales invoices, receipts and payment vouchers into the First Bit / 1C accounting system.
• Process daily bank statements and reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts.
• Prepare payment registers for management approval.
• Provide required documents to external accountants on request.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a steady volume of documents.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Russian is a strong advantage.
• Candidate on own or family visa preferred.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with First Bit or 1C (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks also considered).
