About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to manage our company's financial records, ensure compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, and prepare vital financial reports to guide business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and cash‑flow reports.
- Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with corporate, sales, or payroll tax rules.
- Support internal or external audits, verify financial data accuracy, and enforce internal controls.
- Assist management with budget creation, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications such as CPA or CMA.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong grasp of GAAP or IFRS principles.
