Accountant

About the role

Vetorix is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Dubai team. The position involves handling daily accounting transactions, supporting payroll and VAT processes, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. Both local and overseas‑experienced candidates are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Record and monitor accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile company accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with financial statements.
• Manage petty cash with proper documentation and verify expenses.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee‑related accounting transactions.
• Support VAT calculations, return preparation and UAE tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; overseas experience accepted.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills.
• Female candidates preferred; Hindi/Urdu speaking is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Xero accounting software.
