Accountant

About the role

Professional Master Garage LLC is looking for an Accountant to support accurate financial operations at its Dubai-based business. The role is on-site in Dubai and involves keeping reliable accounting records, helping with routine reporting and ensuring transactions are processed in a timely and controlled way.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including payables, receivables, expenses and bank activity.
• Prepare invoices, track customer balances and follow up on outstanding items.
• Process supplier invoices and payments, checking supporting documentation and approval requirements.
• Maintain general ledger records and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries, reconciliations and schedules for management review.
• Organize accounting records and documents while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and audit or tax documentation as required.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate their causes and recommend practical improvements to accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Practical experience with bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Strong ability to reconcile bank statements, customer and supplier accounts and ledger balances.
• Competence in preparing invoices, payment records, expense reports and routine financial statements.
• Understanding of month-end close procedures, supporting schedules and basic financial controls.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality and consistent document management.
• Ability to investigate transaction discrepancies and communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers.
• Good organization, time management and ability to meet recurring reporting deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting and tax documentation requirements is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, including formulas, data checks and organized reporting.
• Bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
