About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to join our global energy maritime logistics company. The role will oversee cash management and payroll functions, ensuring accurate cash forecasts, fund availability, and timely processing of employee payments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare short‑ and long‑term cash forecasts and secure sufficient funds to meet payment obligations.
• Return unutilized shareholder funds and distribute periodic shareholder income.
• Monitor petty‑cash holdings, reconcile cash balances, and maintain accurate cash and bank ledgers.
• Resolve irregularities with banks and ensure proper interest calculations on interest‑bearing accounts.
• Manage all employee payments, including bank transfers, cash, and cheques, and reconcile advances.
• Create provisions for expatriate end‑of‑service gratuities and UAE national pension contributions, and process related payments in line with policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent) is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or banking.
