Accounts Assistant

About the role

This entry-level Accounts Assistant position covers day-to-day accounting tasks, from recording transactions and handling invoices to preparing financial reports. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and previous work experience is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting entries, maintain ledgers and record financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Handle invoice booking, including PR department expenses and vendor invoices.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including supplier registration and payment processing.
• Reconcile daily sales from services, memberships and retail products, and reconcile sales against cash collections, credit card transactions and bank deposits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports covering sales, rentals and expenditures.
• Monitor vehicle fines and prepare monthly Salik reports.
• Assist with audit documentation and financial compliance reports, and keep financial records organised and properly filed.
• Follow company accounting procedures, policies and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Internship experience or relevant accounting coursework is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, preferably advanced.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP Business One, QuickBooks or Xero is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
