Admissions Officer

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Umm Al Quwain is looking for an Admissions Officer within its Administration department. The role handles, organises and coordinates all administrative processes related to student admissions, supporting prospective students and families through the admissions journey while keeping records accurate and communication clear.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce prospective parents and students to the SABIS Educational System and give guided tours of the campus.
• Handle student registration, including applications and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on inquiries, applications and enrolment statistics.
• Meet annual enrolment targets and grow student numbers sustainably.
• Follow up with parents on admissions procedures and required documentation.
• Work with staff to keep marketing materials up to date and distributed to the right audience.
• Build relationships with embassies, universities, companies, NGOs, nurseries and ministries to raise the school's visibility and drive enrolment.
• Coordinate registration for external examinations and support university applications by liaising with universities.
• Prepare, manage and submit student records and documents required by the Ministry of Education.
• Coordinate end-of-term reports to parents and students and carry out other tasks assigned by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• English proficiency; knowledge of the local language is a plus.

• Meets employment requirements including references and background checks.
