Adventure Travel Consultant | Ecotourism Development Specialist

About the role

A full-time, mid-to-senior level position to design sustainable travel experiences, coordinate adventure tourism programs and promote responsible tourism. The role covers developing travel packages, identifying ecotourism opportunities, building partnerships with tourism operators and implementing strategies that balance visitor experience with environmental conservation and local community development.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends, market opportunities and customer preferences in adventure travel and ecotourism.
• Develop and coordinate adventure travel packages, nature-based experiences and sustainable travel programs.
• Identify destinations, outdoor activities, eco-friendly accommodation and tourism service providers.
• Build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, local communities, conservation organisations and tourism authorities.
• Develop ecotourism strategies and coordinate bookings, transport, tour schedules and activity logistics.
• Evaluate destinations on accessibility, environmental impact, safety and commercial feasibility.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders on community-based tourism and sustainable projects.
• Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction, prepare development proposals and business plans.
• Ensure compliance with tourism regulations, environmental guidelines and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel consulting, tourism development, adventure tourism or ecotourism management.
• Currently residing in the UAE and legally authorised to work there; tourist and visit visa holders are not eligible.
• Must have a personal UAE bank account to receive salary.
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Environmental Studies, Business Administration or a related field preferred; previous professional experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
