Aftermarket Service Technician – K‑Winch

About the role

The Service Technician will independently perform aftermarket service activities for the K‑Winch product line, including Truckline systems, Powerpacks and winches. The role involves inspection, dismantling, troubleshooting, repair, re‑assembly, testing, commissioning and field service while adhering to quality, safety and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections, condition assessments and dimensional checks of K‑Winch, Truckline and Powerpack equipment.
• Dismantle, troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults, repair or replace components, and reassemble according to approved procedures.
• Conduct functional and performance testing, commissioning, and complete all required documentation and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, report non‑conformances and support root‑cause investigations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Physical fitness for workshop work and ability to operate overhead cranes and breakout machines.
• Awareness of workshop environments and adherence to quality, safety and environmental procedures.
