AI Workflow Engineer

About the role

AppliedAI Co is a fast-growing enterprise AI SaaS company delivering mission-critical AI solutions to large-scale enterprise clients. It is looking for an AI Workflow Engineer to join its team in an on-site, technical, customer-facing role in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver, implement and support AI-powered workflow automation solutions tailored to client needs, working closely with a key strategic partner on joint client projects and integration initiatives. Occasional travel to client and partner sites is required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and configuration of the AI workflow automation platform for customers and partners
• Design, build and deliver PoCs and pilot projects
• Integrate solutions with third-party systems via APIs and web services
• Work with APIs, data connectors and middleware to integrate with ERP, CRM and other enterprise platforms
• Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve technical challenges
• Collaborate with the partner's technical and project teams and engage with customer technical teams
• Support onboarding, technical training and enablement sessions
• Prepare technical documentation, integration guides and handover materials
• Relay customer and partner feedback to Product and Engineering

Required profile

• Proven technical background in AI, machine learning, workflow automation or related fields
• Strong hands-on experience with system integrations and APIs
• Experience integrating with enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, HR, finance systems) is highly desirable
• Ability to work directly with partner and customer technical teams
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment and willing to travel

Required skills

• APIs: REST, SOAP, webhooks
• Bonus points: Python, workflow orchestration engines, ERP/CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, technical workshops, security and compliance knowledge
