Air Freight Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Air Freight Specialist to join our logistics operations team in Dubai. The role involves managing end‑to‑end air freight processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and growing business with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end air freight operations, including booking, routing, scheduling, and coordination with airlines and ground handling agents.
• Prepare, verify, and manage all air freight documentation such as Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.
• Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, freight agents, and clients to ensure smooth clearance and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and grow business from an existing client portfolio while identifying new air freight opportunities.
• Monitor flight schedules, cargo status, and resolve operational issues promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight forwarding operations within Dubai, UAE.
• Existing client portfolio is mandatory.
• IATA certification or cleared IATA exam (preferred).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills
