Aircraft Fuelling Operator

About the role

The Aircraft Fuelling Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient refuelling and defuelling of aircraft at the airport, ensuring full compliance with aviation standards, airport regulations and ADNOC requirements. The role involves close coordination with airline representatives, strict adherence to HSE policies and accurate documentation of all fuelling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform refuelling and defuelling of aircraft according to the assigned schedule and fuel specifications.
• Inspect fuelling vehicles and equipment before each operation and report any defects.
• Drive to the apron, position the fuelling vehicle, connect bonding hoses and fuel dispensers, and monitor the fuelling process.
• Take fuel samples, complete quality‑control checks and record results as per ADNOC Aviation Division procedures.
• Prepare and obtain signatures on delivery tickets, ensuring all documentation is accurate and handed to the customer representative.
• Maintain constant vigilance over safety, property and personnel during fuelling operations.
• Load and unload fuelling vehicles when required, following airport safety and security rules.

Required profile

• Experience in aircraft fuelling or similar aviation ground handling operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations, airport procedures and ADNOC standards.
• Ability to perform quality‑control checks and handle fuel sampling.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with pilots, technicians and customer representatives.
