Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead – GCAA/EASA, Global & Challenger

About the role

Join Bombardier’s new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state‑of‑the‑art MRO facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport launching in Q1 2027. As the B2 Aircraft Maintenance Team Lead you will drive daily maintenance operations for the full Bombardier fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aircraft maintenance activities, guaranteeing work is performed safely, on schedule and in line with Bombardier policies, OEM instructions and GCAA/EASA regulations.
• Plan and prioritize manpower, tooling, hangar space and materials to optimise resource utilisation.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support and mentorship to maintenance crews.
• Certify maintenance actions, inspections and releases to service, ensuring airworthiness compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and escalates issues to Project Managers for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work packages, technical records and regulatory reports.
• Promote a strong safety, quality and risk‑management culture and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• UAE nationals or candidates already residing in the UAE; relocation support is not available.
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance leadership, preferably within a multi‑type fleet environment.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA and EASA regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to manage teams, workloads and stakeholder expectations effectively.
