AML Officer

About the role

Join Capital.com, a leading trading platform expanding globally, as an AML Officer in Dubai. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm against financial crime by monitoring transactions and investigating suspicious activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily transaction monitoring alerts and investigate potentially suspicious activity.
• Review client deposits, withdrawals, and payment activity for financial crime risks.
• Document investigation findings and maintain clear audit trails.
• Escalate suspicious activity to the Head of Compliance and MLRO.
• Prepare and support the submission of STRs and SARs through goAML.
• Produce AML management information, including alert volumes, trends, outcomes, and escalations.
• Support transaction monitoring testing, rule tuning, threshold reviews, and market abuse investigations.

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of experience in AML, transaction monitoring, or financial crime compliance.
• Practical experience investigating alerts and reviewing client payment activity.
• Knowledge of AML, sanctions, fraud, and suspicious activity reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing STRs or SARs, preferably using goAML.
• Background in a broker, investment firm, exchange, fintech, or regulated financial services company.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement.
• Ability to produce clear investigation reports and manage alerts within required timelines.
