Analyst – WBG Capital & Treasury Business Finance

About the role

The Analyst will support the LM in delivering financial analytics, performance management and planning for ADIB's WBG, Treasury and IBG businesses. You will provide timely insights to senior management, help shape cost discipline and monitor key profitability metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist LM with strategic plans, budgeting and annual corporate planning.
• Produce monthly business analysis, budget variance reports and weekly forecasts.
• Monitor RWA, RoRWA, RoRAC and other profitability metrics at business and client levels.
• Track daily financing and deposit movements, highlighting significant client changes.
• Run weekly flash collection exercises and maintain balance‑sheet trackers.
• Enhance drill‑down reporting on profitability patterns, risk ratings, sectors and products.
• Develop and monitor cost allocation rules for each cost centre.
• Analyse exposures, cost of credit and other credit‑related matters.
• Collaborate with ACE on customer genome dashboards and produce analytical reports for senior management.
• Support internal control standards and ad‑hoc initiatives as required.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in business or finance analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Effective communication skills and high work ethics.
• Research capability and attention to detail.
• Professional finance qualification (e.g., CMA, ACCA) is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
