Aquatics Training Supervisor – Pool Services

About the role

The Aquatics Training Supervisor will lead the lifeguard team across pool, beach and waterfront areas at Wynn Al Marjan Island, ensuring safety, service excellence and compliance with Forbes Five‑Star standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily lifeguard performance, assign positions, rotations and break coverage.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, monitor vigilance, grooming and professionalism.
• Lead rescues, first aid, CPR, AED use and emergency action plan execution.
• Maintain and inspect rescue equipment, first aid supplies, oxygen and AEDs.
• Deliver onboarding, in‑service, remedial and refresher training; assess skills, fitness and competency.
• Support certification and recertification in line with recognized aquatic safety standards.
• Ensure guests receive safe, attentive, Forbes Five‑Star service and handle guest concerns.
• Oversee daily safety checks, equipment inspections and coordinate with engineering and pool technicians.
• Complete safety reports, incident documentation, shift handovers and training records accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; lifeguard certification (ILS, RLSS, Ellis & Associates or equivalent) required.
• Lifeguard Instructor/Trainer and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certifications strongly preferred.
• 2–3 years lifeguarding experience with supervisory, senior lifeguard or trainer responsibilities.
• Experience in luxury hotel, resort, beach club or high‑volume aquatic environment preferred.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification and instructor qualifications.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use operational systems, radios, communication platforms and reporting tools.
